Sierra Health Services Inc. of Las Vegas said its directors authorized the repurchase of up to 2 million more shares of Sierra common stock. The company has repurchased 2.6 million shares so far this year.
Sierra had about 27.1 million shares of common stock outstanding as of May 15.
