Brandi Nichole Anderson
Brandi Nichole Anderson, 26, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1976, in Canoga Park, Calif. A resident for 13 years, she was a phlebotomist for United Blood Services, a nationally certified reflexologist and a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House.
She is survived by her father, Lance Anderson of Valencia, Calif.; her mother, Kim Tscherne, and her stepfather, Steve Lopez, both of Las Vegas; her former stepfather, Steve Tscherne of Sylmar, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Jason L. King of Valencia and Joey Tscherne of Sylmar; and her grandparents, Sherrie and Robert Bales of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. vigil Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated noon Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.
The family suggests donations to Ginger's Rottie Rescue, 2428 Valparaiso St., Las Vegas, NV 89108.
Daisy Buffington
Daisy Buffington, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 1, 1907, in Louisiana. A resident for 57 years, she was a housekeeper.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Melvin and Frankie Hamilton, both of Las Vegas; one son, Herbert Buffington of North Las Vegas; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Lena Butterworth
Lena Butterworth, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 10, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a retired law secretary.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Steves of Tinley Park, Ill., Christine Kleber of Buffalo, N.Y., and Carrie Colopy of Chicago Heights, Calif.; two sons, Steven Preattle of Tinley Park, Victor Butterworth of Momence, Ill., and Luci Maricich-DeCero of Portage, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handing arrangements.

Ruth M. Clark
Ruth M. Clark, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 6, 1920, in Clayton, N.M. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Clark Carter of LaHabra, Calif., Charlotte Clark Tanner of Las Vegas and Annette Clark of Brea, Calif.; five sons, Stephen H. Clark II and Geoffrey M. Clark, both of Las Vegas, Michael M. Clark of Palmdale, Calif., David M. Clark of Dundee, Ill., and Paul M. Clark of Centerville, Ohio; one sister, Julia Ione Cornwall of Sun City, Ariz.; 35 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Thursday in the LDS chapel, 9580 Peace Way.
The family suggests donations to the LDS Missionary Fund.
Elizabeth Phillips
Elizabeth Phillips, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 15, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired executive secretary at the California Club.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Adele E. Rosenthal
Adele E. Rosenthal, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1924, in New York City. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired secretary in the aerospace industry, a member of the City of Hope, Jewish War Veterans auxiliary and Jewish Women International.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Rosenthal of Las Vegas and Robert Rosenthal of Plano, Texas; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the City of Hope, 5600 W. Spring Mountain Road, Suite 208, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
Shirley A. Stump
Shirley A. Stump, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A bookkeeper, she was born March 9, 1933, in Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Robert.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Helmuth Sylvester
Helmuth Sylvester, 88, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A minister, he was born Dec. 24, 1914.
He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Burning of Henderson; one son, Delvin Sylvester of Missouri; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Missouri. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Craig Lee Womack
Craig Lee Womack, 58, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Moline, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a banking loan officer and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Crawford, and one sister, Laurie Ann Gregory, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Henry Hoornaert of Winslow, Ariz., and Gary Frost of Pekin, Ill.; and his companion, Ray Chapman of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Diane Young
Diane Young, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. An accounting and billing clerk, she was born April 28, 1944, in Illinois.
She is survived by one aunt, Dorothy McGlade of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
