Letter: Bush to blame for nation’s chaos
Friday, May 16, 2003 | 6:09 a.m.
WEEKEND EDITION: May 18, 2003
I would like to respond to Dave Wilson's May 13 letter and his hilarious criticism of Ruth DiMaggio's May 9 letter. Yes, Mr. Wilson, President Bush did steal the election with the help of his brother, Jeb Bush, his good friend Katherine Harris and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Everything Ms. DiMaggio said in her letter was true and I suggest you read the news more carefully. I find it incredible that you Republicans won't admit this terrible abuse of our voting procedure.
I predict that Bush will go down in history as the worst president we have ever had in the United States. And while I am at it, I would like to ask you and others who constantly blame President Clinton for all of Bush's mistakes to admit our country is in complete chaos since Bush took over. We all know what great shape we were in when President Clinton was in charge.
