Letter: Gore supporter not informed

As I read Ruth DiMaggio's May 9 letter, I see that she sees Al Gore as "handsome," and Iraq as "tiny." I read her letter and realize she thinks 9-11 only occurred because Bush won (or, as she suggests, stole) the election.

What amazes me is how many of these "Bush bashers" still use "bumper sticker mentality" with phrases like "blood for oil." Be you a Democrat or a Republican, a conservative or a liberal, please read a paper or watch the news a little bit before shouting rhetoric and second-guessing our leaders on foreign policy!

But then again, possibly, Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein thought of Al Gore as handsome also, and she's right, 9-11 is Bush's fault. Let's have a beauty pageant or a popularity contest next election, and world peace will follow.
