Bone density tests are planned
Novasoy Natural Power Tour will offer free bone density screenings plus information on the power of soy from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at National Vitamin, 7440 Industrial Blvd., and Sunday at Belz Factory Outlet World, 7400 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
The American Menopause Foundation is co-sponsoring this event. Donations collected will benefit its educational programs. (312) 228-0800.
SCORE to offer business seminar
The Las Vegas Chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) presents "How to Really Start Your Own Business" seminars at 9 a.m. Thursday and Saturday at the City Centre building, 400 S. Fourth St. Suite 250A.
Admission will be $45 and will include a reference manual and workbook.

The Bridge Assisted Living and Life
Care Center of Paradise Valley will host an open house to celebrate National Nursing Home Week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at both facilities, 2205 and 2325 E. Harmon Ave.
