Letter: Imagine traffic where Rhodes wants to build
Monday, May 12, 2003 | 9:29 a.m.
Approximately 19,500 inhabitants. Around 15,000 vehicles. Where? In the 5,500 homes that Jim Rhodes wants to build on Blue Diamond Hill for us regular, down-to-earth folks.
I can hardly wait to try to get off that hill on mornings, and up that hill on evenings. They must be figuring on at least three lanes each way.
To Sen. Harry Reid, Sen. John Ensign, Karen Hunt, the chair of the Red Rock Committee of the Sierra Club's Southern Nevada Group, et al. -- fight, fight, fight!
