Scout Expo scheduled Saturday at Lorenzi
Scout Expo, a trade show of Scouting, will host 100 exhibits from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Lorenzi Park, 3343 Washington Ave.
The event is designed for parents and their children ages 7 and older. There will be demonstrations and activity booths staffed by youth members in five theme areas.
A qualifying round of the Pepsi Pitch Hit and Run contest will also be in operation during the show.
Admission is $4.

Las Vegas Springs to host annual fair
The Las Vegas Springs Preserve is hosting its third annual Southern Nevada Cultural History fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Desert Demonstration Gardens, 3901 W. Alta Drive.
The free event will include cultural dance and drama performances, cultural foods and historic presentations.

As part of North Las Vegas Tastes and Tunes,
a used book sale fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. Proceeds will support the library. For more information, call 636-2703.
