Music
'Jazz in the Park'
Bob Sheppard & the Morrie Louden Band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Government Center Ampitheater as part of the "Jazz in the Park" free music series. No pets please. 455-8200.
Lunchtime concerts
Mestivo USA will perform Latin music as part of the "Next Friday" series of free lunchtime concerts at 11:30 a.m. May 16 at City Park, Fourth Street and Stewart Avenue. 229-4614.
Singer-songwriter
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Christine Lavin, who has 27 albums to her credit, will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Las Vegas Little Theatre, 3844 Schiff Drive. Tickets are $15. 385-1232.
Concert
The Las Vegas Master Singers will perform the final concert of their 10th season at 4 p.m. Sunday at UNLV's Doc Rando Recital Hall in the Beam Music Center. Tickets are $10; $8 for seniors, students, military and disabled. 452-3104.
Solo Festival
The Community College of Southern Nevada Performing Arts Department presents its annual Faculty Solo Festival, combined with the Winners' Concert for the fourth annual CCSN Piano Concerto Competition, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Nicholas Horn Theatre on the college's Cheyenne Campus. Admission is $10; $8 for seniors and students. 651-5483.
Spring concerts
The Community College of Southern Nevada will present two concerts this week: The orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Nicholas Horn Theatre on the college's Cheyenne campus; and the concert band performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the same theater. Reggae festival
The second annual Legends of Rasta Reggae Festival will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the UNLV's North Practice Fields, next to Sam Boyd Stadium. Tickets are $8 presale; $10 the day of the show. 474-4000.
Big band
Come celebrate Mother's Day at a concert by the Walter Boenig Big Band at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Tickets are free, but are required to attend. 229-6211.
Broadway's best

Flamenco Theater

'Six Degrees'
The UNLV College of Fine Art & Performing Arts Center presents "Six Degrees of Separation" at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Judy Bayley Theatre. 895-2787.
'Dinner'
Las Vegas Little Theatre presents the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play, "Dinner With Friends," at 8 p.m. today, Saturday and Thursday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at 3844 Schiff Drive. Tickets are $13; $11 for seniors and students. 362-7996.
Shakespeare
The Nevada Theatre Company presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at 8 p.m. Thursday at Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 Town Center Drive, its second "Shakespeare Under the Stars" production. Tickets are $8 for Summerlin residents and $12 for the general public. 791-4412.
Fairy tales
The Sierra Vista High School Theatre Department presents "Funny, Fractured Fairy Tales" at 7 p.m. Thursday on the school's campus. Tickets are $5. 799-6820, ext. 261.
