There is more than a little irony, listening to Las Vegas Councilman Michael McDonald complaining about the campaign practices of his opponent, Janet Moncrief. Is this not the same Michael McDonald whose past behaviors have led to charges of influence peddling, which very nearly led to his own political demise? Now he is on the receiving end of tactics, which he views as injurious to his political ambitions, and he cries foul.
Isn't it time for McDonald to stop trying to act like a political innocent and concentrate on running his own campaign, on its merits, and allow his adversaries a chance to voice their positions on the issues?
