The body of a man found dead near a strip mall on Monday was identified as Anthony Limongello, Metro Police said today.
Limongello, 40, was last seen near his home at 9 p.m. on Sunday. The black 2002 Lincoln Navigator he was driving is now missing.
Limongello died from a gunshot wound and was discovered near the trash bin of a strip mall in the 1000 block of North Rancho Drive at 8 a.m. on Monday. Police are now trying to piece together the events that led up to Limongello's death, Lt. Tom Monahan of Metro's homicide unit said.
Police are now looking for Limongello's missing car with Nevada plates 435PCF. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers 385-5555 or Metro's homicide section 229-3521.
