Supplier reports jump in profit

Acres Gaming Inc. of Las Vegas earned $7.3 million in the third quarter ended March 31 compared to a loss of $259,000 for the year-ago quarter. Earnings per share were 67 cents compared to a loss of 3 cents.
The 2003 quarter included a $4.2 million tax benefit. Revenue increased 70 percent, to $9.5 million, helped by the installation of bonusing systems at Station Casinos Inc. properties.
