Woman killed in collision
A 24-year-old Las Vegas woman died in a traffic accident about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in southwest Las Vegas, Metro Police said.
Witnesses told police that Christinna Hymer was driving a 2000 Honda S2000 convertible recklessly, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic westbound on Flamingo Road near Rainbow Boulevard, Metro Police Detective Doug Nutton said.
Nutton said Hymer's car hit the Nissan Quest van driven by Ismael Mata-Gonzaldez, 18, of Las Vegas. The van then collided with a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Jorge Castellanos, 30, of Las Vegas.
Hymer was pronounced dead at the scene, Nutton said. Three people in the pickup truck and two people in the van suffered minor injuries.

Police arrested Amado Rubio Gallegos on charges of murder with the use of a deadly weapon, Metro Sgt. Rocky Alby said. Gallegos was booked on murder charges into the Clark County Detention Center on Saturday.
Metro has been investigating the death of Julio Martinez-Ramirez. The victim's body was discovered inside a suitcase on April 18 at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of East Desert Inn Road.

Estanislao Gonzalez, 48, was arrested on three counts of murder about 4 a.m. Friday near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Metro Police, teamed with Downey officers, spent three months investigating him through surveillance and DNA evidence and believed they had probable cause to arrest him, police said.
At the time of his arrest Gonzalez was with his twin sons, 12 years old. They were taken into protective custody by police.

Metro Police's fugitive unit arrested a man last week wanted in Missouri on warrants for kidnapping, burglary and assault.

Parr was arrested without incident Wednesday in the 5600 block of Boulder Highway.
