Baseball
Green Valley 5, Cheyenne 4: Brian Sizemore's seventh-inning double plated Jordan Parraz as the Gators pulled out the win. Kyle Price went 3-for-3 with a homer for Green Valley.
Softball
Palo Verde 10, Mojave 0: Sierra Longchamps had two hits, two runs, and an RBI, and Renee Dipuccio allowed just one hit and fanned nine as the Panthers cruised.
Centennial 4, Cimarron-Memorial 1: Tori Healy went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as the Bulldogs completed a perfect season in the Northwest.
Boys' Volleyball
Foothill def. Basic, 16, 9, 19: Niko Saipale totaled 12 digs and nine kills, and Jake Lamb put down 10 kills to pace the Falcons. Alex Funtila gave out 30 assists.
Las Vegas def. Desert Pines, 25-8, 25-12, 25-5: Devin Busby totaled 10 kills and five blocks, and Jayson Gifford recorded 23 assists, nine aces, and five kills as Las Vegas rolled. Kyle Romero added five kills and five aces for the Wildcats.
Durango def. Bishop Gorman, 25-23, 25-23, 25-7: Kris Stinnett's 15 kills and seven digs paced the Blazers to the win. Miles Peshlakai added 10 kills and Ken Huffman gave out 30 assists for Durango. James Wilkes recorded 10 kills and Mike Gilroy had eight kills and six digs for the Gaels.
Palo Verde def. Mojave, 29-27, 17-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-10: Peter Rigg had 13 kills and Thomas Steffen added 12 kills as the Panthers survived. Derek Baldwin added 40 assists for Palo Verde. For Mojave, James Scheppard had seven kills and 11 blocks, and Billy Lacy had 13 kills and 10 digs.
