A Florida company that specializes in advertising for the travel industry has been hired to promote hosting conventions for Steve Wynn's $2.4 billion Le Reve hotel-casino under construction on the Las Vegas Strip.
Orlando-based Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell specializes in travel, hospitality, lodging and themed entertainment and is one of the largest ad agencies in the country specializing in that niche.
A spokeswoman for Le Reve said YPB&R would work specifically in convention sales, while the resort's major advertising responsibilities would be handled by the New York-based Arnell Group, which is known for its Celine Dion DaimlerChrysler commercials and its "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker" promotion for Reebok.
Le Reve is scheduled to open in April 2005.
YPB&R has more than 50 clients worldwide and has offices in New York, Los Angeles and Los Angeles as well as London, Zurich and Sao Paulo.
