51s complete four-game sweep of RedHawks

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Las Vegas rallied for an 11-6 victory against the Oklahoma RedHawks on Thursday to wrap up a four-game sweep at SBC Bricktown Ballpark.
The 51s (21-7) scored three times in the eighth inning and added four more in the ninth.
Todd Clapinski finished with three hits and two RBIs. He had a run-scoring triple in the seventh off RedHawks starter Travis Hughes (1-1) to tie the game 6-6. He later scored on a passed ball to put the 51s ahead for good.
The 51s then put the game out of reach with four more in the ninth as Oklahoma went through four relievers to record the game's final eight outs.
Former UNLV standout Ryan Ludwick gave the RedHawks an early 4-2 lead with a two-run homer in the third inning. It was his foruth homer of the seaason.
Lindsay Gulin pitched six innings and earned the win. He allowed six runs, two of which were earned, and struck out six.
