The 30th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team will travel to the University of Washington in Seattle for the first and second rounds of the 2003 NCAA Division I Championship.
The Rebels (16-5 overall and 7-2 in the league) earned an at-large bid to their fourth-ever and second consecutive NCAA team tournament despite falling in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference tournament last week.
UNLV, which is looking to win its first NCAA match since 1998, will face 25th-ranked Illinois (16-7) in the first round on May 10 beginning at 10 a.m. PDT. The Illini went 9-3 in the Big Ten Conference and lost in the league finals to Northwestern.
