ROBERT MASSI
School: Bishop Gorman
Class: Senior
Sport: Golf
Last week: A recent signee to St. Mary's College in California, Massi turned in a superb week as the Gaels continued to roll through regular-season play. Against Southwest division foe Sierra Vista, Massi medaled with a 36, as Gorman defeated the Lions, 195-207, at Las Vegas Country Club. Against Durango Tuesday at Rhodes Ranch, Massi again outshined the competition by carding a 1-under score of 35 to lead the Gaels to a 191-230 triumph against the Blazers.
EMILY SULLY
School: Green Valley
Class: Senior
Sport: Softball
Last week: A spectacular individual effort that aided an equally special team showing earns Sully the honors. In the biggest game of the week Friday against top-ranked Silverado, Sully, an outfielder, went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI as the Gators pulled off an 8-5 upset of the Skyhawks. In the Gators' 8-3 Thursday win against Coronado, Sully contributed three hits. She pitched in with two hits in a 6-4 Tuesday victory against Foothill. The Gators share the Southeast Division lead at 7-1.
