Two men rob Wild West casino
Metro Police are searching for two men who robbed the Wild Wild West casino on Tropicana Avenue at Interstate 15 about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The men walked up to the cashier's cage and one of them flashed a pistol at an employee. They handed the employee a bag and demanded cash, Lt. Ted Snodgrass said. They left with an undisclosed amount of money.
When the suspects got outside, they removed the velvet jogging suits they were wearing. They had different clothes underneath, Snodgrass said. It was unclear whether they left in a vehicle or on foot.
They are both described as black and 5 feet 11 inches. The first robber appeared to be 25 to 30 years old. The second robber was younger and thinner, Snodgrass said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or the robbery section at 229-3591.
