Baseball
Green Valley 3, Chaparral 2: Kyle Price hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh to win the game for the Gators. Jordan Parraz pitched one inning to earn the win in relief of Ryan Tabor, who allowed three hits and struck out seven over six innings.
Sierra Vista 7, Southridge (Ore.) 6: Ty Selby tripled and doubled, Justin Garcia went 2-for-3, and Scott Burke went 2-for-4 to lead the Lions to the win.
Basic 8, Las Vegas 4: Austin Bales hit a two-run homer and Zeke Roybal drove in a run to lead the Wolves to the victory. Justin McDaniel went five innings to pick up the victory.
Softball
Las Vegas 5, Basic 3: Kelsey Klein enjoyed a stellar day for Las Vegas. Klein first hit a two-run homer in the sixth to give the Wildcats a lead, then blasted a tiebreaking solo shot in the eighth as well.
Foothill 16, Valley 1 (5 inn.): Brandi Johnson struck out 10 and the Falcons used an eight-run fourth inning to rout the Vikings. Rebecca Ritchie tripled three times and scored four times, while Lacy Mann doubled, triple, and scored three runs.
Green Valley 11, Chaparral 1 (5 inn.): Jaimee Stethem allowed two hits over five innings to earn the win for the Gators. Stethem also had two RBIs. Jennifer Davies and Trina Dorn both went 3-for-4 for Green Valley, combining for three doubles and three RBIs.
Centennial 2, Durango 0: Shannon Crisp tossed another shutout victory -- her third win in three days -- and Tory Healy's two-run homer provided the difference for the Bulldogs.

Bonanza 183, Durango 213 (at Canyon Gate) Medalist: Joe Wieser and Hunter Campbell (Bon) - 35
Centennial 212, Mojave 238 (at Paiute) Medalist: C.J. Morley (Cen) - 40
Green Valley 195, Silverado 247 (at Legacy) Medalist: Alex Lyon (GV) - 38
Bishop Gorman 191, Sierra Vista 229 (at Siena) Medalist: Robert Massi (BG) - 34
Basic 214, Foothill 219 (at Revere) Medalist: Dustin Borum (Bas) - 39
Boys' Volleyball
Palo Verde def. Cimarron-Memorial, 25-19, 25-12, 21-25, 25-16: Peter Rigg totaled 18 kills, and Ryan Johnson added 15 kills as the Panthers survived. Derek Baldwin passed out 50 assists.
Las Vegas def. Eldorado, 25-20, 25-8, 23-25, 25-18: Jayson Gifford totaled 33 assists, seven blocks, and seven kills to pace the Wildcats. Devin Busby also had eight kills, six blocks, and 20 digs, while Josh Campos put down 10 kills for Las Vegas. Cody Cunningham had eight kills for the Sundevils.
Coronado def. Foothill, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13: Austin Allman's 16 kills helped the Cougars outlast the Falcons. Dan Saggiomo had 30 assists and Ben Keller had seven kills for Coronado. Jake Lamb totaled 18 kills and 10 digs for Foothill, while Niko Saipale recorded seven kills and nine digs and Alex Funtila had 41 assists.
