Boulder Beach cleanup scheduled
A Great American Cleanup will be held at Lake Mead's Boulder Beach Saturday as part of a national effort to clean up public areas through May.
The sign-in will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Boulder Beach picnic area, and the cleanup will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Please bring gloves, water, sunscreen and a hat.

Diabetes charity fund-raiser set
The Nevada chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is having its annual Spring Gala fund-raising dinner Saturday at Mandalay Bay's Island Banquet Room.
Cocktails and a silent auction begin at 6 p.m., dinner and a live auction at 7. Proceeds will go to juvenile diabetes research. Call 732-4795.
Registration is being accepted for a conference
on Asperger's syndrome and high-functioning autism, to be held April 29-30 at the Gold Coast. Call (800) 489-0727.
