Murder suspect Alfonso "Slinkey" Blake received medical care for two stab wounds in California while police were searching for him in connection with the slayings of two women, authorities said.
"There's a suggestion he had been stabbed and received medical attention in California, and that's all I can say," Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Robert Daskas said. Investigators don't believe Blake's stabbing is related to the murders.
Blake fled after allegedly shooting and killing Shophear Choy, 19, and Priscilla Van Dine, 22, and critically injuring Kim Choy, 23 on March 5.
He was arrested March 8 in Barstow, Calif. He was brought back to Nevada on Saturday and is scheduled to appear in Justice Court Thursday.
