Leopold P. Carfora
Leopold P. Carfora, 91, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired general sales manager for a tire manufacturer, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an usher at Guardian Angel Cathedral.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; one son, Joseph J. Carfora of Stony Brook, N.Y.; two brothers, Joseph Carfora of Phoenix and Pat Carfora of Queens, N.Y.; two sisters, Louise Rienzo and Nancy Carfora, both of Queens; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Hila Marie Conry
Hila Marie Conry, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 22, 1914, in Drumright, Okla. A resident for three years, she was a real estate saleswoman and private investor.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra; two sons, Gene Conry of Henderson and Edward Conry of Denver; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, is handling arrangements.
Anna Konetzki
Anna Konetzki, 44, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 10, 1958, in Kansas. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; five daughters, Carrie Kirk, Dixie Bryan, Rose Mitchell, Brenda Crow and Jamie Konetzki, one son, Mark Konetzki, her parents, Wilma and Andy Crow, two sisters, Dona Crow and Berthia Gerling, and two brothers, William Crow and John Crow, all of Henderson; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Ernest Michael Kovats
Ernest Michael Kovats, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 3, 1922, in River Rough, Mich. A resident for 40 years, he was an estimator for Hansen Mechanical Plumbing, a World War II Army veteran and was a member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Stella; one daughter, Lillian Cross of Oceanside, Calif.; one son, Dennis Kovats of Las Vegas; one sister, Margaret Von Pertz of Poway, Calif.; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Charlotte Mamie Loucks
Charlotte Mamie Loucks, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 21, 1922, in New Haven, Mich. A resident for 30 years, she was a claims representative and a veteran of the Coast Guard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace W. "Bob" Loucks in 1991.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Loucks of San Rafael, Calif., and Donald Loucks and John Loucks, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Bonnie Ronshaugen of Las Vegas; one sister, Inez Nates of Michigan; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Tuesday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Susan C. Murray
Susan C. Murray, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Naples, Italy. A resident for eight years, she retired from an education support staff.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Murray of Las Vegas and Kenneth Murray of Chambersburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

John W. Peters
John W. Peters, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 2, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, he was retired from his computer business and was a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Peters and Michael Peters, both of Perrysburg, Ohio; and two brothers, Fred Peters of Seattle.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Ohio. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Roslyn Ann Saliture
Roslyn Ann Saliture, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 30, 1947, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, she was a data entry clerk in the entertainment industry.
She is survived by one sister, Carole S. Saliture of Des Plaines, Ill.

Frances Louise Schofel
Frances Louise Schofel, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Rockingham, N.C. A resident for nine years, she was a retired florist and cosmetologist and a member of the sisterhood at Temple Beth Am.
She is survived by her husband, Murray H.; two daughters, Sylvia Jack of Orlando, Fla., and Sandra Fay Logan of Troy, Mont.; one son, Charles Woodside of Hackettstown, N.J.; two sisters; four brothers; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Temple Beth Am, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV 89134.
Frances Elizabeth Webb
Frances Elizabeth Webb, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 18, 1914, in Trenton, N.J. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by one daughter, Holly Webb of Las Vegas.
