Baseball
Sierra Vista 12, Palo Verde 3: The Lions banged out 20 hits to improve to 6-0 on the season. Ty Selby went 5-for-5 with a homer and three doubles, driving in four runs. Mike Seerup also had four hits, including a homer and four RBIs. Manny Vargas had three hits for the Lions.
Softball
Sierra Vista 2, Palo Verde 0 (10 inn.): Danielle Martinez's two-run double in the 10th inning lifted the Lions to the win. Kylee Kissane struck out nine and walked three to earn the win for Sierra Vista.
Las Vegas 3, Green Valley 0: Marcy Rollins went the distance for the Wildcats, allowing six hits and fanning four. Rollins and Re'sean Brit both went 2-for-3 with a run.
Cimarron-Memorial 8, Clark 0: Kim Adams' 14 strikeouts paced the Spartans to the win. Ashley Adams had two hits for Cimarron.
Basic 6, Chaparral 2: The Wolves scored six unearned runs on nine Cowboys errors. Sarah Thomas doubled in a run for Basic. Michelle Ralston went 2-for-4 for Chaparral.
Other scores: Bonanza 13, Cheyenne 3 (5 inn.)

Palo Verde 198, Cimarron-Memorial 223 (at Painted Desert) Medalist: Keenan Voit (CM) - 36
Bonanza 198, Clark 227 (at Angel Park) Medalist: Joe Wieser (Bon) - 35
Green Valley 187, Foothill 209 (at Legacy) Medalist: Adam Pebbs (GV) - 34
Bishop Gorman 180, Western 242 (at Las Vegas Municipal) Medalist: Jonathan Taruc (BG) - 33
Boys' Volleyball
Silverado def. Desert Pines, 25-14, 25-4, 25-18: Dave Peterson had eight kills and Jason Keep had six kills as the Skyhawks cruised. Lewis Miranda had 25 assists for Silverado.
Durango def. Cheyenne, 25-9, 25-11, 25-22: Durango earned the win behind nine kills from Kris Stinnett and 15 assists from Ken Huffman.
Mojave def. Western, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 15-9: James Scheppard had 11 kills and 21 blocks, and James Tuitama had 10 aces for the Rattlers.
Foothill def. Valley, 24-26, 25-6, 25-9, 25-11: Jake Lamb registered 16 kills and seven digs to lead Foothill to the victroy. Marty Afante had 24 assists for the Vikings.
