Rebels women record victory in San Diego

Playing on the road for the first time since a Feb. 8 loss at Fresno State, the No. 33-ranked UNLV women's tennis team eased by the University of San Diego 4-1 Thursday at the Barnes Tennis Center.
Paulina Janus, fresh off being named Mountain West Conference co-player of the week, won at first singels for the Rebels (9-2).
UNLV, the defending MWC champion, opens league play today with a neutral-court match vs. No. 52 New Mexico on the campus of San Diego State.
