Letter: Growing tired of warmongering administration
Friday, March 21, 2003 | 5:17 a.m.
United States citizens know that Iraq has nothing to do with Sept. 11, (15 of the 19 were Saudis, none were from Iraq). So why do some believe that sending our young military men and women into harm's way and taking the lives of thousands of innocent civilians and their children is perfectly OK? Because this appointed administration of incompetent, warmongering politicians say so?
Are some Americans so hopelessly dumbed down that they blindly accept anything they are told just because the party they voted for tells them to do so?
Our ruined economy, unanswered questions regarding the truth of 9-11, continued loss of our civil rights, and now this horrific unnecessary invasion of a defenseless country, unleashing U.S. weapons of mass destruction, should not be accepted on a partisan basis.
And calling the millions of loyal Americans and citizens all over the world unpatriotic because they oppose and protest this unprovoked invasion is beyond ridiculous. "Supporting our troops" means saving their lives and bringing them home -- now!
