Arvena Dot Ault, 74, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. She was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Canada. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Ron Ault of California; one daughter, Terri Mavis of Arizona; one sister, Wanda Brennian of Canada; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, Boulder City, is handling arrangements.
Burton D. Beauchamp
Burton D. Beauchamp, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 2, 1930, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 46 years, he was a casino host and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marge; one daughter, Andrea Beauchamp-Hammond of Las Vegas; three stepdaughters, Sharon Robison of Las Vegas and Shirley Allen and Sharlene Allen, both of San Diego; one stepson, Dana Allen of San Diego; one brother, Lonnie Pope of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Jack E. Buck
Jack E. Buck, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 28, 1936, in Los Angeles. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired limousine driver.
He is survived by two sons, Jack Buck of Las Vegas and Jon Buck; one daughter, Jill McAllister, and one brother, James Buck, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Virginia E. Carpenter
Virginia E. Carpenter, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired singer.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Schiff; and one sister, Olive Pistor of Washington state.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Patricia Ciccolella
Patricia Ciccolella, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Washington, Pa. A resident for 32 years, she was an artist and teacher of decorative arts, a member of the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society, Sierra Club, Las Vegas Ski Sports Club and National Society of Decorative Painters.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Bonar of Las Vegas; four sisters, Nancy Hancher of Sanford, Fla., Peg Cantu of Cameron, W.Va., Susan Philpott of Las Vegas and Lisa DeCecco of Glenshaw, Pa.; and two brothers, Terry Miller of Claysville, Pa., and Larry Miller of St. Petersburg, Fla.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bruce G. Cole
Bruce G. Cole, 71, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born July 23, 1931, in Merna, Neb. A resident for 40 years, he was a loss and prevention manager at Albertson's and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Reba LaDonna; one son, Rodney Cole of Running Springs, Calif.; one daughter, Jolynne Sanchez of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-4 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Mildred B. Copes, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 16, 1940, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a retired human resources director for a utility company.
She is survived by her husband, Louis F. Sr.; one son, Louis F. Copes Jr., and one daughter, Denise Copes-Banks, both of Syracuse; six sisters, Virginia Jackson and Linda Belt-Donovan, both of Buffalo, N.Y., Mary Nelson and Marjorie Linzy, both of Syracuse, Leslie Dean of Lysander, N.Y., and Helen Belt of Cato, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in Syracuse. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Shirley A. Cortez, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 1, 1949, in Dallas. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jose; one son, Greg Freeman of Las Vegas; two sisters, Debra Harkey and Barbara Freeman, and four brothers, Sam Freeman, Michael Freeman, Kenneth Freeman and Larry Freeman, all of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Barbara A. Desvari, 62, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 7, 1940, in Booneville, Miss. A resident for 12 years, she was a health insurance secretary.
She is survived by her husband, John; and five sisters, Linda Moore of Guntown, Miss., Alice Brockman of San Francisco, Betty Frederick and Dorothy Woodruff, both of Mississippi, and Molly Watson of Florida.

Ellie Hue Dupree, 73, of Las Vegas died March 11 in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1929, in New Edinburg, Ark. A resident for 48 years, he was a construction foreman.
He is survived by three daughters, Thelma Monroe of Green Bay, Wis., Velma Grubbs of North Las Vegas and Birdia J. Dupree of Las Vegas; two sons, Hugh E. Dupree and Lodis Dupree, both of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Asberry Dupree Jr. of Las Vegas and Jewel E. Dupree of North Las Vegas; one sister, Sandra Dupree of Monticello, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Portals to Glory Church of God in Christ, 2301 Comstock Drive. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Lee Esther Dupree
Lee Esther Dupree, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 6, 1935, in Tyler, Texas. A resident for eight years, she was an administrative employee for the state of Alaska.
She is survived by her husband, Rayfield of Fairbanks, Alaska; two daughters, Beverly Dupree of Phoenix and Andrea Dupree of Las Vegas; one son, Andre Dupree of Springfield, Va.; her father, Lee J. Kennedy of Detroit; two sisters, Carol Jean Kennedy of Los Angeles and Jackie Kennedy of Detroit; and four grandchildren.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.
Charles R. Egloff
Charles R. Egloff, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1956, in Brazil, Ind. A resident for 11 years, he was a cosmetologist for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie; one son, Richard Andrew Egloff, and his father, James O. Egloff, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Susan Jayne Egloff of Diamond Head, Miss.; and one brother, James Michael Egloff of Ontario, Calif.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Esther Fiorillo, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Cullican, Mexico. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Lions and Elks.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; one daughter, Rosalinda Romero of Las Vegas; three sons, Gilbert Cabral of Palmdale, Calif., and Eddie Cabral and Richard Cabral, both of San Fernando, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Zelda Catherina Groves
Zelda Catherina Groves, 64, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 3, 1938, in California. A resident for two years, she was a retired certified nurse's aide at a convalescent hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Monty; two daughters, Cynthia Haller of Phoenix and Kathy Olsen of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one sister, Nancy Palasits of San Dimas, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Julia Hamilton, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 19, 1930, in Dover, Ga. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired Clark County School District teacher of 28 years and a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc.
She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Patricia Evans of Atlanta and Sandra Hamilton of Phillips Ranch, Calif.; one sister, Mary Hallman of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in Unity Baptist Church, 545 N. Marion Drive. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Dean E. Iverson
Dean E. Iverson, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1943, in Decorah, Iowa. A resident for 12 years, he owned and operated a mobile home repair business.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Jeffrey Iverson, and one daughter, Kristi Archuleta, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Iverson of Fort Collins, Colo.; six brothers, David Iverson of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Rusty Iverson and Keith Iverson, both of Fort Collins, Dwight Iverson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Richard Iverson of San Diego; one sister, Eunice Michalka of Fort Collins; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Walter Justin, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1920, in Vienna, Austria. A resident for 48 years, he was a dental technician and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; one daughter, Vicki Sudduth, and two sons, Mark Justin and Jon Justin, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Erica Haines and Hedy Oppenheimer, both of California; and eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Doris Touchstone and Deborah Adams, and two sons, Larry Lawrence and Anthony Lawrence, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Frieda Barragan of Manteca, Calif.; two sisters, Delores Reitchmuth of Manteca and Faye Hanlon of Escalon, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Klatt and Ralph Klatt, both of Grants Pass, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Gordon Mervyn Lawson
Gordon Mervyn Lawson, 90, of Boulder City died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 24, 1912, in Mexborough, England. A resident for two years, he was a business owner and artist.
He is survived by one daughter, June Anderson of Boulder City; one son, Bryan Lawson of Forsythe, Mont.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Faith Christian Church, 1100 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, Boulder City, is handling arrangements.

Shirley A. Medina, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Fullerton, Calif. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired secretary in the gaming industry.
She is survived by her husband, David; two sons, Rick Medina and David Medina Jr., both of Las Vegas; one sister, Martha Vos of Athens, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Antonette Mongeau, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 11, 1920, in Westfield, Mass. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
She is survived by one son, Gary Mongeau of Las Vegas; one daughter, Roberta Johnson of East Moline, Ill.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sharon Kay Poole, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 15, 1950, in Jacksonville, N.C. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired administrative secretary for the Clark County Health Department.
She is survived by her parents, William L. Poole of Las Vegas; and one brother, William L. Poole Jr. of San Diego.

Barbara J. Schulze, 50, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1952, in Hazelton, Pa. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired cashier in the gaming industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Krystla Schulze, and her mother, Sadie Edwards, both of Las Vegas; her father, William Soma of San Fernando, Calif.; and one sister, Anne Smallwood of Las Vegas.

Joseph Charles Schwartz, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 29, 1952, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a glazier and a member of Glaziers Local 201.
He is survived by one son, Robert Schwartz, and his mother, Amy Schwartz, both of Las Vegas.

Virginia "Gennie" Scott, 75, of North Las Vegas died Feb. 19, in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 13, 1928, in Greenville, S.C. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired hotel laundry worker.
She is survived by her husband, Albert.

Marilyn Y. Silver, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 4, 1932, in Pontiac, Ill. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, David Russell and Richard Russell of Las Vegas; two brothers, Marvin Nanninga of Santa Maria, Calif., and Gilbert Nanninga of Granois Mills, Mo.; and two sisters, Irma Williams of Pontiac and Dorothy Sewell of Eagle River, Alaska.

Betty Jean Slomon, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 5, 1916, in Idaho. A resident for 25 years, she was a housekeeper.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Yusko; two daughters, Carol Yusko and Christine McEldownen; two brothers, William and James; three sisters, Esther, Florence and Patti; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Waldman, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 2, 1912, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 71 years, she was a bookkeeper and a volunteer at UMC's neonatal ward for 12 years.
She is survived by three sons, Herbert Waldman of Henderson, Philip Waldman of Laguna Hills, Calif., and William Waldman of Silver City, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon T. Harris of Las Vegas and Jerelyn D. Rosenberger of Patchogue, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Emma A.; two sons, Lewis Woodring of Reno and Robert Woodring of Las Vegas; one daughter, Pamela Woodring, and one sister, Betty Germano, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Edward Woodring of Ocala, Fla.
