Letter: Saudi Arabia is the true enemy
Thursday, March 20, 2003 | 8:54 a.m.
Every time people ask Bush and his crew why they are attacking Iraq and not Saudi Arabia, they get drowned out with adjectives describing how evil Saddam Hussein is. But no one says he isn't evil -- they evade the question.
Saddam didn't attack the U.S. on 9-11. Osama bin Laden and his terrorists did. Nine of the attackers were Saudi Arabians. Osama bin Laden is a Saudi. The money trail has been backtracked from the 9-11 attackers to Saudi Arabia.
So why Iraq? Unless Bush can answer that question, the world's suspicions will be assumed correct: They are thinking that Bush used 9-11 to attack Iraq because the rich despots who rule Saudi Arabia continue to deal with the U. S.-British-Dutch oil cartel while Saddam tried to deal with the oil companies of France, Russia and China. American oil men are major contributors to campaigns of Bush and other conservative hawks.
