Burton D. Beauchamp
Burton D. Beauchamp, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 2, 1930, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 46 years, he was a casino host and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marge; one daughter, Andrea Beauchamp-Hammond of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Sharon Robison of Las Vegas and Shirley Allen of San Diego; two stepsons, Dana Allen and Sharlene Allen, both of San Diego; one brother, Lonnie Pope of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Bruce George Brain
Bruce George Brain, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a respiratory therapist and a veteran.
He is survived by his mother, A. Taylor; one son, Brian Jake Brain; one daughter, Brandee Jett; one brother, Donald Brain; and four grandchildren.

Doris L. Brandley
Doris L. Brandley, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Minnesota.
She is survived by her husband, Ron.

Marie Burke
Marie Burke, 80, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; one daughter, Susan Day of North Las Vegas; one sister, Louise Skiffey, and one brother, Ed Sabella, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Mary Ann 'Grandma' Caldwell
Mary Ann "Grandma" Caldwell, 89, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 17, 1913, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 36 years, she was a foster grandmother for the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson for 23 years.
She is survived by one son, Clyde C. Caldwell of Henderson; four daughters, Shirley Davis, Nancy Wilson and Sandra Barnhart, all of Henderson, and Joyce Sweet of North Las Vegas; 34 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson, 401 Drake St., Henderson. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The Rev. Nancy Cass, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Massachusetts. A resident for 25 years, she was a hope chaplain at University Medical Center and a deacon at St. Matthew Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E.; two sons, Dwight E. Cass of Culver City, Calif., and Todd A. Cass of Woonsocket, R.I.; two daughters, Linda Cass of Las Vegas and Cheryl Ann Volich of Summerville, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.

Virginia H. Davies, 90, of Antioch, Calif., died Thursday in Antioch. She was born March 23, 1912, in Salt Lake City. A former Las Vegas resident for 46 years, she was a retired accountant.
She is survived by one son, Alan Hibbard of Antioch; one daughter, Judith Blei of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Frederick J. Eddy Sr.
Frederick J. Eddy Sr., 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born July 3, 1925, in Boston. A resident for 30 years, he was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by one son, Frederick J. Eddy Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra J.; two sons, Steven J. of Brockton, Mass., and Matthew L. of Las Vegas; one daughter, Mary E. Brooks of Fontana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by one son, Scott, one daughter, Sabrina Sallinger, and her mother, Emma Bragg, all of Las Vegas; and one granddaughter.

Rodney Gonzalez, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 30, 1962, at Bitburg Air Base, Germany. A resident for 27 years, he was a Gulf War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Chelsea Gonzalez and Corina Gonzalez, his parents, Sam and Anna Gonzalez, and one sister, Yolanda McClary, all of Las Vegas.

Vera B. Horton, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 28, 1918, in Coolidge, Texas. A resident for 61 years, she was a pantry worker at Caesars Palace.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise M. Horton, one niece, Thelma Johnson, and her best friend, Annie Calhoun, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Zion United Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Helen E. Houtchens, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1921, in Oblong, Ill. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Bill Hudson of Las Vegas; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Nicholas E. Kaloudis
Nicholas E. Kaloudis, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1924, in Piracus, Greece. A resident for 25 years, he served in the Greek Royal Navy, retired from the Merchant Marines and was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one stepson, David Glessing, and one step-grandson, both of Sammamish, Wash.
Visitation is scheduled three hours prior to a 6:30 p.m. Trisagion service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 S. El Camino Road. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Norman Lavern Koons
Norman Lavern Koons, 68, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 26, 1934, in Kansas. A resident for 12 years, he was an Army veteran and a member of a bass fishing club.
He is survived by his companion, Dorothy Hardy; one son, Richard; one daughter, Betty Baldwin; two brothers, Don and Daniel; and five grandchildren.

James Thomas Long, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 26, 1949, in Havre, Mont. A resident for 15 years, he was a taxicab driver and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, James T. Long of Las Vegas; one daughter, Angela K. Long of Henderson; his mother, Florence Long, and one brother, Richard Long, both of Vancouver, Wash.

Daniel Richard Lynch
Daniel Richard Lynch, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1959, in Ohio. A resident for 10 years, he was a maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Holly; one son, Daniel Lynch Jr. of Las Vegas; his parents, Robert and Jean Lynch of Pahrump; three sisters, Judy Worthington of Florida, Patricia Miller of Virginia and Kathleen Dotz of South Carolina; and one brother, Thomas Lynch of Pahrump.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road.
Maurice 'Deedie' McGehee
Maurice "Deedie" McGehee, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired education administrator.
He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Powe of Los Angeles.

Edward L. Micuch, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Natrone, Pa. A resident for many years, he was a mechanic and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by one son, Edward Micuch, and one daughter, Bonnie Schwestak, both of California; one brother, Donald Micuch of Pennsylvania; one sister, Bernadette Dymkowski of Wisconsin; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Rose Sarjanian, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 5, 1915, in East St. Louis, Ill. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Armenian Ladies Society of Las Vegas, Armenian American Club and Daughters of Vartan.
She is survived by one daughter, Aznive 'Ozzie' Stasak of Las Vegas; one brother, Malcolm Keteian of Sterling Heights, Mich.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Kathleen A. Van Cleve of China and Karen S. Coe of Bethesda, Md.; and one son, Kermit R. Swingle of Boulder City.

Ruby F. Tepsich, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Snowflake, Ariz. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired commercial artist.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore J.; one son, Rod A. Mediogovich of St. George, Utah; one sister, Phyllis Shumway of Hemet, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Charles Lindberg "Bud" Theis, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 13, 1927, in Berlin, N.J. A resident for 15 years, he was a traffic manager for the Department of Defense and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kang Gi; two daughters, Linda Dorsey of Williamsburg, Va., and Rose-Marie Carlisle of Columbia, S.C.; one son, Michael Theis of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Don Theis of Stamford, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one daughter, Lisa Evans of Las Vegas; two sons, James Thompson of Spokane, Wash., and Kenneth Thompson of Las Vegas; one sister, Karen Everett of Goodsprings; one brother, Paul Ossmen of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Friday in Hacienda Heights LDS chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon E.; one son, Gregory Moore Washington of San Bernardino, Calif.; two daughters, Sharice M. Washington and LaTina D. Washington, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, John Washington of California and Nathaniel C. Washington of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sharon E. Barrows of California and Shari McClian of Texas; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Osha Pauline Whetzel, 85, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. She was born April 2, 1917, in Smithtown, Pa. A resident for 11 months, she was a beauty salon owner-operator.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy P. Byrd of Boulder City; one sister, Elsie Jane Cohen of Tucson; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burke Eugene Whitaker, 69, of Las Vegas died Feb. 27 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1934, in Tennessee. A resident for seven years, he was a security officer.
He is survived by his wife, Donna G. Porter; one son, Terry Whitaker of Arizona; two daughters, Terri L. DeWitt and Alice L. Thompson, both of Nevada; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
