William Frank Barnes
William Frank Barnes, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 9, 1940, in Wilmington, Del. A resident for three years, he was a production manager for the Department of Defense and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; three sons, Mark Barnes of Owensboro, Ky., and Ron Barnes and Jim Barnes, both of New Baltimore, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Jermaine Bronson
Jermaine Bronson, 25, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A stockman at a retail store, he was born April 19, 1977, in Illinois.
He is survived by his parents, William and Pamela Bronson of Chicago.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Teresa Buscema
Teresa Buscema, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1916, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Adele McAfee of Jackson, Wyo.; four sons, Enzo Buscema of San Jose, Calif., Roy Buscema of Las Vegas, Rafaelle Buscema of Crested Butte, Colo., and Roberto Buscema of Thorton, Colo.; one sister, Maria Giannone, and one brother, Giorgio Bruno, both of Italy; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be noon Wednesday in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Madeleine 'Mady' Chatillon
Madeleine "Mady" Chatillon, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 21, 1929, in Zurich, Switzerland. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Lynne Pourazary of Palm Desert, Calif., Michele Cavallo of Henderson and Danielle Chatillon of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Schwam of Pennsylvania; one brother, Max Weissberg of Beverly Hills, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
Esther A. Cooksey
Esther A. Cooksey, 94, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 9, 1908, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for four years, she was a retired retail assembler.
She is survived by one son, James Oppolzer of Grants Pass, Ore.; one daughter, Joan A. Stenson of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Godfrey Hays Cooper
Godfrey Hays Cooper, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 6, 1920, in Carlisle, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired bank auditor.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine R.; and one son, Daniel Cooper of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Milo M. 'Curly' Crawford Jr.
Milo M. "Curly" Crawford Jr., 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born March 17, 1929, in Springfield, Mo. A resident for 30 years, he was a casino floorman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara J.; two daughters, Deborah Fitzgerald of Eugene, Ore., and Dani Jackman of Pomona, Calif.; one son, Mark Crawford of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; one brother, Robert of California; his former wife, Wilna of Covina, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in The Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 W. Sahara Ave. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Leo Crutchfield
Leo Crutchfield, 77, of Las Vegas died March 1 in Las Vegas. He was born March 14, 1925, in Maryland. A resident for 42 years, he owned and operated a rental car business for 20 years and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Richard Crutchfield of Washington, D.C., and Brad Crutchfield of Las Vegas; one daughter, Debbi Inghram of Las Vegas; one brother, Walter Crutchfield, and two sisters, Joan Crutchfield and Janie Jones, all of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services and burial were in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Joseph Formica
Joseph Formica, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Italy. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired organizer for the Teamsters Union, a member of the Italian-American Club and the Teamsters Retirement Organization and past commander of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Benita; three brothers, Enrico Formica of New York and Fredrick Formica and Michael Formica, both of Florida.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Grace Combs Foster
Grace Combs Foster, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 15, 1920, in Vincent, Ky. A resident for 48 years, she was a computer operator, a member of the Eastern Star and a board member of Nevada Credit Union.
She is survived by one son, Charles Steele of Las Vegas; one sister, Irene Whicker of Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Ogba Ghirne
Ogba Ghirne, 44, of Las Vegas died March 11 in Las Vegas. She was born July 11, 1958, in Eritrea. A resident for eight years, she was a taxicab driver.
She is survived by two brothers, Tesfalm Ghirne and Hadsh Ghirne; and two sisters, Tideg Ghirne and Azieb Ghirne.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Orthodox Church, 5400 Annie Oakley Drive, Henderson. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Willie Govan Jr.
Willie Govan Jr., 65, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 14, 1937, in Greenville, Miss. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired casino manager and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Alonzo Johnson of Fairfield, Calif.; one sister, Betty Govan of Greenville; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
William E. 'Ed' Howe
William E. "Ed" Howe, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1925, in New Jersey. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired automobile salesman and a World War II and Korean War Army and Navy veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Gene House of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Catherine Miller of Las Vegas and Helen Risinger of Orange County, Calif.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
John Anthony Hubal
John Anthony Hubal, 85, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1917, in Byesville, Ohio. A resident for 15 years, he was a pipefitter in a shipyard, a World War II Army veteran and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5477.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary Ellen Null and Rosemarie Hubal, both of Henderson, and Margaret Downen of Coupeville, Wash.; two sons, David Hubal of Henderson and John Douglas Hubal of San Diego; one brother, Joseph Hubal of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Cryptside services will be in National City, Calif.
Jack Keturakis
Jack Keturakis, 72, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Harrisburg, Ill. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired laborer for the city government and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; one daughter, Janice Keturakis of South Carolina; one son, Jim Keturakis of Pahrump; and one sister, Betty Keturakis of Belleville, Ill.

Gloria Maye Pope Miller
Gloria Maye Pope Miller, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born June 8, 1943, in Terry, Mont. A resident for six years, she was a technician for Bally's Gaming.
She is survived by two daughters, Ronda Reed of Las Vegas and Brenda Harper of La Mirada, Calif.; three sons, Donald Rose of Clarksville, Tenn., Kevin Miller of Billings, Mont., Keith Miller of Miles City, Mont.; two sisters, Barbara Armstrong of Whitefish, Mont., and Wilma Beckman of Bozeman, Mont.; her companion, James R. Phillips of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Billy Riddle, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 30 years, he was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one daughter, Cynthia of Oklahoma; one stepson, Brandon Martinez of Las Vegas; and one sister, Nada Weiss of Utah.

JoAnn L. Rolek
JoAnn L. Rolek, 56, of Phoenix died Thursday in Phoenix. She was born May 23, 1946, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas A.; one daughter, Denise J. Yeghiayan, and her mother, Delores Simonie, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Frederick D. Schaumburg
Frederick D. Schaumburg, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1934, in Elmore, Minn. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired laborer and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two sisters, Darlene Monroe and Dorothy Krafft, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Jay Jensen of Minnesota.

Mary Grace R. Tubal
Mary Grace R. Tubal, 26, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A merchandise auditor, she was born Dec. 30, 1976, in Manila, Philippines.
She is survived by her husband, Almond; two sons, Miguel Antonio Tubal and Almond Benedict Tubal; her parents, Daniel and Carmelita Tubal; and three sisters, Twinky Rona, Angeline Rona and Christina Rona.

Juan Padilla Valles, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1950, in Utah. A resident for most of his life, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; his mother, Ana; two sons, Joseph E. Valles and Robert J. Valles; five daughters, Kimberly Lester, Michelle Chumley, Marika T. Valles, Jackie Penna and Victoria Penna; three brothers, Daniel P. Valles Jr., Marty Valles and Rocky Valles; one sister, Anna Valles; and seven grandchildren.

Lottie Van Malder
Lottie Van Malder, 96, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born July 24, 1906, in New York City. A resident for eight years, she was a retired department store executive secretary.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Rodney and Mark Rodney, both of Las Vegas, and Troy Darling of Phoenix; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be in Stuart, Fla. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Joseph Washington
Joseph Washington, 53, of Las Vegas died March 9 in North Las Vegas. He was born April 11, 1949, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a Binion's Horseshoe, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a Rancho High School graduate.
He is survived by one son, Terry Washington, three daughters, Joyce Roberson, Lakesha Gaston and Yolanda Bennett, one brother, Robert Lee Washington, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Rhonda Jean Washington of California and Linda Mae Washington and Martha Jean Washington, both of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
