NLV Police may have talked to Smart

The FBI is investigating whether three people contacted by North Las Vegas Police last week were Brian Mitchell, Wanda Barzee and Elizabeth Smart, the long-missing Salt Lake City teenager who was found last week with Barzee and Mitchell.
About 1 p.m. Tuesday, North Las Vegas Police got a call about a group of people loitering outside a Burger King on Craig Road near Interstate 15, a police spokesman said.
When questioned by police the three said they were Peter Marshal, Juliet Marshal and Augustine Marshal, which were the same names used by Mitchell, Barzee and Smart when they were approached by police in Sandy, Utah, on Wednesday.
None of the three had identification, and were allowed to go on their way after their names did not register for warrants or as missing persons in a police database.
The Salt Lake City office of the FBI, along with Salt Lake City Police and North Las Vegas Police are investigating the possibility that the people may have been Mitchell, Barzee and Smart.
