Baseball

Green Valley 12, Mojave 1 (5 inn.): Brian Sizemore struck out five and allowed two hits to earn the win. Ryan Foley homered and doubled, driving in two runs to pace the Gators.

Durango 18, Desert Pines 10: Chris Stiles drove in two runs and Justin Romero scored three times as the Blazers survived a slugfest with the Jaguars. Emilio Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a double for Durango.

Centennial 10, Coconino (Ariz.) 3: Andy Primas allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out seven Panthers as the Bulldogs cruised in the Yuma Invitational. J.C. Leach doubled and had an RBI for Centennial against Coconino of Flagstaff, Ariz.

Softball

Bonanza 7, Valley 0: Kayla Bauder tossed a no-hitter for the Bengals, striking out 10. Bonanza scored six runs before it had a hit, and totaled just three hits overall.

Bishop Gorman 5, Rancho 3: Theresa Liedlich fanned 13 Rams as the Gaels picked up the win. Gorman's Alisha Molina drove in two runs with a double and a triple.

Sierra Vista 12, Eldorado 2 (5 inn.): Kylee Kissane allowed two hits and struck out six as the Lions rolled. Jessica Laman doubled and scored twice for the Lions, and Amber Heinz had two RBIs.

Green Valley 11, Mojave 1 (5 inn.): Sabrina White and Emily Sully went a combined 6-for-6 with two doubles to lead the Gators. Meaghan Haley picked up the win for Green Valley.

Foothill 207, Valley 239 (at Las Vegas National) Medalist: Jon Miller (Foot) - 35

Cimarron-Memorial 215, Western 264 (at Painted Desert) Medalist: Keenan Voit (CM) - 38

Palo Verde 194, Bonanza 209 (at Angel Park) Medalist: Jeremy Keller (PV) - 36

Bishop Gorman 193, Mojave 230 (at Badlands) Medalist: Jonathan Taruc (BG) - 36

Boys' Volleyball

Foothill def. Desert Pines, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16: Jake Lamb totaled 16 kills and Paul Lewis added 10 kills and seven digs to lead the Falcons. Alex Funtila totaled 32 assists for Foothill.

Centennial def. Bishop Gorman, 25-20, 25-12, 25-15: Jeff Robinson's 18 kills and four aces paced the Bulldogs. Mike Gilroy and James Wilkes both finished with eight kills for the Gaels.

Durango def. Mojave, 20-25, 28-26, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11: A 30-assist, nine-kill effort from Ken Huffman helped Durango to the comeback win. Kris Stinnett added 20 kills for the Blazers, and Jon Kerkstra had nine kills. For Mojave, Billy Lacy registered 15 blocks and nine kills.
