Women artists

'Celebrating Life!'

Artists 50 and older may submit two- or three-dimensional artwork for the third annual fine arts competition, "Celebrating Life!" Entries are due May 8-9. Entry forms are available at Derfelt Senior Center, 3333 W. Washington Ave., in Lorenzi Park. Finalists will be displayed May 17-June 20 at Derfelt and first-place winners and Best of Show will be displayed June 24-July 18 at the George Federal Building, 333 Las Vegas Blvd. South. 229-6601 or 229-4631.

Paintings, portraits

In honor of Black History Month, Todd Buckner displays his recent paintings through March 25 at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

Spook show
