Midnight Mayhem hosts street racers
Midnight Mayhem, a grudge drag racing program, will begin its second season at 8 tonight at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Midnight Mayhem was designed to attract illegal street racers to a safer environment.
Grudge drags will run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will be conducted in a manner similar to what illegal street racers are used to.
Entry fee is $10; $5 for spectators.
Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with a currently registered car or motorcycle with proof of insurance. Cars/bikes must be driven (not towed) to the track.

Panel to discuss LV schools
Lori Lipman Brown, Robin Hill, Ernie Rambo, Sue Scofield and Shelley Wise will speak at The League of Women Voters' meeting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Main Street Station Social Club.
The panel will speak on what it's like teaching in the Clark County School District.
