Lois Autuori

Lois Autuori, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 24 years, she was a slot hostess.

She is survived by one daughter, Kristen Autuori, two sons, Thomas Autuori and Nicholas Autuori, and one brother, Thomas Autuori, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way.

Lorena Agatha 'Lori' Craig

Lorena Agatha "Lori" Craig, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 12, 1946, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for five years, she was a transportation specialist.

She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Sheehy; three daughters, Reene Lymon of St. George, Utah, Kathie Peppers of Manastee, Mich., and Julie Sheehy of Long Beach, Calif.; three sons, Craig Foster, Kenny Sheehy and Birch Sheehy, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Bobbie Murray of Estancia, N.M., and Patti Apostolides of El Paso; one brother, Rodney Craig of Albuquerque; and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the LDS Stake Center, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd.

The family suggests donations in her name to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, P.O. Box 15645, Las Vegas, NV 89195.

Roberto Delcel

Roberto Delcel of Las Vegas died Feb. 18 in Las Vegas.

Burial was Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Olean M. Henyan

Olean M. Henyan, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 21, 1924, in Knox City, Texas. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired school cafeteria manager.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy L. Cooper of Las Vegas; two sons, John M. Henyan of Big Bear Lake, Calif., and Robert A. Henyan of Harrison, Ariz.; one brother, John B. Shirley of Bakersfield, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS Rainbow Vista Ward. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Thomas 'Pap' Hughes

Thomas "Pap" Hughes, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Birmingham, Ala. A resident for 54 years, he was a retired casino manager and a World War II Army and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Hughes, Anastasia Hughes and Mary Hughes Washington, one son, Entrotta Hughes, one sister, Elnora Glasco, and one brother, Willie Hughes, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be at noon Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Main, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Sarah F. Kimbrew

Sarah F. Kimbrew, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1937, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 61 years, she was a teacher's assistant for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by one daughter, Tera L. Kimbrew, one son, Byron D. Kimbrew, two brothers, Albert K. Jackson and Alfreddie Jackson, and one sister, Claudia J. Daniels, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Praise Temple Church of God in Christ, 304 Madison Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Hazen 'Bud' La Duke

Hazen "Bud" La Duke, 76, of Overton died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 2, 1926, in Norwalk, Conn. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired government supervisor, World War II Navy veteran, peace officer and a member of Masonic Lodge 44 and the York Rite.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; one daughter, Linda Rhodes of Klamath River, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Jerry Lawson

Jerry Lawson, 64, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 22, 1938.

John Lombardo

John Lombardo, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1937, in New York City. A resident for three years, he was a stationary engineer.

He is survived by one son, Robert Lombardo of Edison, N.J.; one daughter, Mary C. Heaney of Old Bridge, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. Friday services in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Brenda Carol Lynch

Brenda Carol Lynch, 53, of Las Vegas died March 6 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 26, 1950, in Philadelphia. A resident for 20 years, she was a security guard and Vietnam War Army veteran.

She is survived by her parents, Mary and Daniel Townsend, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Lisa Lynch of Philadelphia; and six brothers, Wayne Brown, Stephen Neal, Michael and Robert Neal, all of Las Vegas and Roddrick Lynch and Kenneth Lynch, both of Philadelphia.

Richard Lyons

Richard Lyons, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Illinois. A resident for four years, he was a retired salesman.

He is survived by one two sons, Michael and Douglas; one daughter, Donna; his mother, Odelia; one brother, Bruce; and six grandchildren.

Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Carrie Lee Maxwell

Carrie Lee Maxwell, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 6, 1916, in LaVona, La. A resident for two years, she was a retired laborer.

She is survived by one daughter, Maxine M. Thornton of Las Vegas; one sister, Sarah Record of Danham Springs, La.; one brother, Herman Williams of Port Allen, La.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Charles F. McKnight

Charles F. McKnight, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for eight years, he was a finance manager for Becker Enterprises, a former research chemist at the University of California-Davis and a member of E Clampus Vitas 1849 and Elks Lodge 518.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his mother, Anna Perkins, and one sister, Shirley Mitchell, both of Louisville; one daughter, Laura Newell of Chico, Calif.; and one stepson, Douglas Smith of Santa Rosa, Calif.

Al Oberman

Al Oberman, 78, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1924, in Brooklyn. A resident of Henderson, he was a fisherman and professional baseball player for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1940s.

He is survived by six children, David Oberman, Bruce Oberman Jeffery Oberman, Bubba, Toya Oberman and Eydie; one sister, Sydelle Oberman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mary Perlongo

Mary Perlongo, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born June 4, 1926, in New York City. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Mario; two daughters, Kathy Patrick of Las Vegas and Connie Richner of Truckee, Calif.; two brothers, Vito Cottone of Commack, N.Y., and Anthony Cottone of Madera, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Vella of Queens, N.Y., and Josephine Perlongo of Madera; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10:30 a.m. mass Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Mary Jean Peterson-Hawkins

Mary Jean Peterson-Hawkins, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born March 10, 1940, in Kearney, Neb. A resident for 25 years, she was a singer.

She is survived by one daughter, Christi Winter of California; his mother, Elsie Peterson of Las Vegas; and one brother, Robert Peterson of Oregon.

A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, Suite 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Audrey L. Oakes Reney

Audrey L. Oakes Reney, 96, died Saturday in a retirement home. She was born Nov. 7, 1906, in Narcissa, Okla. A resident for 61 years, she was a retired railroad clerk.

She is survived by two sons, John Oakes of Seward, Neb., and Roger Oakes of Las Vegas; one brother, Bob Davis of Redondo Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday services in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Kimberly Roeller, 38, of Las Vegas died Jan. 4 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 6, 1964.

Marie M. Russell

Marie M. Russell, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, she was a retired data processor.

She is survived by one son, Henry Harley Russell of North Fort Myers, Fla.; one daughter, Marilyn M. Russell of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and one great great-grandchild.

Georgia Stevens

Georgia Stevens, 81, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Denver. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Carey Letak of Pleasanton, Calif., Jack Stevens and Roy Stevens, both of Henderson; three daughters, Margaret Bardwell of Norwalk, Calif., Linda Spencer of Orderville, Utah, and Pam Dunkel of Henderson; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Kasper Eugene Tipton Sr.

Kasper Eugene Tipton Sr., 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Snyder, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired baker.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J.; two sons, Kasper Eugene Tipton Jr., of Las Vegas and Terry G. Tipton of Reno; one daughter, Sally A. Swan of Las Vegas; one sister, Pauline Guimond of Carson, Calif.; two brothers, Wesley Tipton of Gilmer, Texas, and Michael Tipton of Corpus Cristi, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Antonio Roman Valdez

Antonio Roman Valdez, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Mexico. A resident for five months, he was a farmer.

He is survived by five sons, Mario Roman, Antonio R. Martinez, Jesus Roman, Juan Manuel and Rigoberto, all of Las Vegas; six daughters, Rosario Roman of Houston and Gillermina Roman, Gloria Roman, Dora Roman, Yolanda Roman and Irma Roman, all of Mexico; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Mexico.

Michael E. Watkins

Michael E. Watkins, 60, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 1, 1942, in Paw Paw, Mich. A resident for one year, he was a systems analyst and Vietnam War Marines Corps veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Walters of Henderson, Heather Hirsch and Kelly Watkins, both of Minnesota; two sons, Michael Watkins of Arizona and Greg Watkins of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Joseph H. Fulton III of Los Angeles; one daughter, Peggy Jo Fulton of Las Vegas; one brother, Irvin Henry of Cincinnati; and one grandchild.
