A telecommunications trade show, which has bucked an industry trend by expanding while others have shrunk, will move to Las Vegas this year.
The U.S. Telecom Association said Telecom '03 would be conducted Oct. 11-15 at The Venetian hotel-casino.
The event was held in Boca Raton, Fla., last year and in Scottsdale, Ariz., in 2001.
Spokeswoman Allison Remsen said the show has outgrown venues where the event had been scheduled previously.
Remsen said more than 1,000 people would attend the show -- a 15 percent increase over last year.
