Baseball

Cheyenne 5, Valley 3: The Vikings were done in by five errors that led to two unearned Desert Shields runs. Nick Klein homered and drove in two runs for Cheyenne, and John Saccamano paced Valley by going 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Softball

Eldorado 11, Western 1 (5 inn.): Cristina Macke struck out eight in five innings to lead the Sundevils to the win. Jaime Larsen helped Eldorado by driving in two runs and scoring two runs.

Las Vegas 9, Pahrump Valley 3: Caroline Fernandez smacked a three-run double and Alicia Delatorre hit a two-run triple to lead Las Vegas to the win. Marcy Rollins picked up the win, striking out six in six innings. Veronica Villa paced Pahrump Valley with a two-run triple.
