Stanley Gordon Brewer

Stanley Gordon Brewer, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Indianapolis. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired owner of Duffy's Tavern.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Debra Kearney of Indianapolis and Jan Hutchinson of Las Vegas; his mother, Louise Brewer of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Bownlay Donesing

Bownlay Donesing, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Pasay, Vietnam. A resident for two years, she was a businesswoman.

He is survived by three sons, Somsanith, Phetsomphon and Samlane; three daughters, Naoghou Ounsayanh, Phayvanh Boonsiri and Sandy Chung; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Harry Deray Dugard

Harry Deray Dugard, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1936, in Mississippi. A resident for two years, he was a shoe store manager and an Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Terry Probyn and Tina Dugard, both of Riverside, Calif., and Patricia Quint of Garden Grove, Calif.; two sons, Stephen Dugard of Victorville, Calif., and Phillip Dugard of Temecula, Calif.; one brother; one sister; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lehel Egedy

Lehel Egedy, 63, of Las Vegas died Jan. 15 in a local hospital. Born May 28, 1939, he was a lawyer.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

John Gearld Fields II

John Gearld Fields II, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 12, 1931, in Ohio. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired milkman and former member of the Henderson City Council.

He is survived by three sons, Kelly, Charles "Lucky" and John II; one daughter, Cindy Tyler, seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Geralyn Haas

Geralyn Haas, 49, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1953, in Evansville, Ind. A resident for two years, she was a planner for the city government.

She is survived by one son, Aaron A. Haas of Greeley, Colo.; her mother, Margaret Slaughter of Evansville; four brothers, John Slaughter of Salt Lake City, Michael Slaughter of Chicago, Dennis Slaughter of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Guy Slaughter of Evansville; five sisters, Jane Buckland of Carlsbad, Calif., Christine McConaughey of Missoula, Mont., Maggie Anderson of West Yellowstone, Mont., Elizabeth Di Christofaro of Fairfax Station, Va., and Julie Memmer of Evansville; and one grandchild.

Carl James Hall

Carl James Hall, 47, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A resident for nine years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Christine Hall of Henderson; two daughters, Jaime Hall of Los Angeles and Jessica Huhn of Nevada; his mother, Barbara Hall of Springville, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at River Mountain Ranch Park.

Ruth Holquin

Ruth Holquin, 84, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1918, in Sanger, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired nurse.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Holquin of Henderson and Arthur Diaz of San Bernardino, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Dolores 'Dolly' Hugh

Dolores "Dolly" Hugh, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1920, in Las Vegas. A resident for 61 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by one son, Dennis Hugh of Las Vegas; one brother, Frank Grace of North Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Cora Lowery

Cora Lowery, 75, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 19, 1927, in Kosciusko, Miss. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Ken Lowery of Henderson; one brother, William George of Chicago; one sister, Robbie Watson of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 9 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lisa Ann Makowski

Lisa Ann Makowski, 45, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 27, 1957, in Detroit. A resident for 24 years, she was an activity director for an assisted living center.

She is survived by one daughter, Rachel Makowski and her parents, Robert and Dorie Sinkule, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road.

Maurice C. Mickelson

Maurice C. Mickelson, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 9, 1927, in Minneapolis. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired sales representative and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A.; one daughter, Ann M. Kabanuck of Springdale, Ark.; one son, Daniel J. Mickelson of Champlin, Minn.; two brothers, Michel Mickelsen of Las Vegas and Gregory Siegler of Stillwater, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

James Reeves

James Reeves, 62, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Clarkdale, Ariz. A resident for 36 years, he was an industrial arts instructor at Basic High School for more than 20 years and was a National Guard veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Fay; two daughters, Robin Smith of Reno and Ginger Vyterna of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; his mother, Vivian Reeves of Henderson; one sister, Barbara Trammel of Caldwell, Idaho; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Christopher G. Rimsey

Christopher G. Rimsey, 20, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. Born July 11, 1982, in Vicksburg, Miss., he was a resident for 19 years.

He is survived by his parents, Jimmie and Deloris Rimsey, three brothers, Andre Rimsey, Patrick Rimsey and Mitchell Rimsey, and one sister, Tina Rimsey, all of North Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Essie Yelder of Detroit.

Visitation is scheduled noon to 7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

William Rockwell

William Rockwell, 62, of Las Vegas died Feb. 27 in Las Vegas. Born Oct. 22, 1940, he was a carnival worker.

No services are scheduled. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handled arrangements.

Maxine Roughan

Maxine Roughan, 53, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 28, 1949, in Arkansas. A resident for nine years, she owned and operated a party supply company.

She is survived by her husband, J.C.; one daughter, Sonia McCaffrey of Henderson; two sons, Travis Wilson of Fridley, Minn., and Rod Wilson of Hesperia, Calif.; her stepfather, Leonard Burks, and four sisters, Naomi Thompson, Gloria Jones, Kathleen Burks of Kathrine Burks, all of Arkansas; three brothers, Ralph Morgan of Arkansas and Larry Morgan and Lynn Morgan, both of Texas; and six grandchildren.

Burial will be Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kenyion T. Tolliver

Kenyion T. Tolliver, 3, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1999, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth Tolliver; his mother, Ticia Jackson; two brothers, Keyonte Toller and Justin Bailey, and one sister, Precious Bailey, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled noon to 6 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Barbara Ann 'Babs' Villazante

Barbara Ann "Babs" Villazante, 52, of Las Vegas died Feb. 28 in Las Vegas. She was born April 14, 1950, in Westerly, R.I. A resident for 25 years, she was an artist.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Villazante and Todd Villazante, both of Nevada; her father, Angelo Pellegrino of Rhode Island; two sisters, Christina Pellegrino of Rhode Island and Lorraine Cersosimo of Florida; two brothers, Joseph Pellegrino of Rhode Island and Michael Pellegrino; and one grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, Suite 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Geriann Waters

Geriann Waters, 39, of Las Vegas died Jan. 18 in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1963, in Illinois. A resident for nine years, she was a pharmacy tech.

She is survived by one brother, Ronald Lee Waters.

Allen Richard Wilson

Allen Richard Wilson, 63, of Carson City died Monday in Carson City. He was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Ogden, Utah. A resident of Carson City for 30 years, he was a former Las Vegas resident when he worked for EG&G, he co-founded Sierra Control Systems Inc., in Carson City, was on the First Presbyterian Church Pastor Nominating Committee, was a recording secretary for the Carson City Kiwanis Club and a coach for Little League baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Dennis Wilson of Sparks and Mike Wilson of North Potomac; one daughter, Patty Joyce of Las Vegas; one sister, Joyce Soule of Reno; one brother, James Wilson of Johnson City, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church Family Life Center, in Carson City.
