Henderson to hold growth-plan meetings
The first of several public meetings on possible changes to Henderson's Comprehensive Plan will be held Monday night at the Henderson Convention Center.
The Comprehensive Plan serves as a guide for future growth and development, giving direction on land use, economic development, transportation and housing matters.
The Monday meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the convention center at 200 Water St. Additional meetings will be held over the next eight months.
In 1996, a 15-member citizens advisory committee updated the Comprehensive Plan after meetings and workshops with residents.
