Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., has one of the top three websites in the Senate, a group that studied congressional websites said.
The Congress Online Project awarded a "gold mouse award" to Reid and Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Tom Carper, D-Del.
The project, funded by a private grant in partnership with George Washington University, is designed to encourage better online communication between lawmakers and the public. Websites were graded on content, interactivity, usability and innovations.
The project gave 26 silver awards and 15 bronze awards to House and Senate members, but no other Nevada lawmaker websites were recognized.
The report said the best websites in Congress offer extensive and updated information on lawmaker stances on issues, and offer interactive features such as online polls, chats and newsletters.
