New tower opens at Venetian

The Las Vegas Strip's Venetian resort last week opened its new $275 million, 12-story hotel tower, dubbed "Venezia." It has 1,013 luxury suites, a pool deck reminiscent of a Venetian garden, a wedding chapel, a concierge level with private lounge and a restaurant slated to open later this year. Perks offered on the concierge level, which has 122 suites, include private registration and elevator access, unpacking services and personal assistance with travel and/or show arrangements. The Venetian has hired 353 employees, not including transfers from elsewhere at the property, to staff the tower. An additional 1,000 parking spaces have been added to the garage as well.
