Two arrested in case of cut-up body

Metro Police arrested two people in connection with the murder and dismemberment of Allan Nidiffer, a 48-year-old man whose torso and limbs were found in two suitcases June 7.
Wayne Dearion, 44, was arrested Saturday, and Richard Peters, 34, was arrested Monday. Both were charged with murder and are being held at Clark County Detention Center.
Detectives believe the killing was the result of a methamphetamine deal that went bad, Lt. Tom Monahan said.
Nidiffer's arms and legs were found the afternoon of June 7 in a suitcase in a garbage bin in the 3500 block of Maryland Parkway. That night, a suitcase containing Nidiffer's torso was found in a trash container behind a strip mall at Desert Inn Road and Rome Street, a few blocks away from where the other suitcase was found.
