Letter: Statewide lottery could help fund education needs

Now, more than ever, lawmakers should look to a statewide lottery to cure our schools' financial problems. With revenue going directly to our schools, more teachers could be found as well as providing higher pay.

The growth, especially in Clark County, is not going to stop. We need to make sure our children receive the best education, from the best teachers, in the best schools. Our megacasino owners should also look past their profits and into our school system. Let's bring back the "we live here also" attitude. It is a win-win situation.
