UNLV receives technology honor

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has been selected to receive the National Educational Technology Standards Distinguished Achievement Award for 2003 for its use of technology in its teacher preparation program.
The award will be presented at the 24th annual National Educational Computing Conference in Seattle.
UNLV is one of only four universities in the nation to receive an award this year from the International Society for Technology in Education in recognition of its use of technology.
