VEGAS.com has signed an agreement with one of the world's largest independent credit card issuers to produce VEGAS.com branded cards that will give users discounts on travel and accommodations sold on the Internet travel-booking site.
The Internet site signed the deal with MBNA America Bank, Wilmington, Del., to issue exclusive "Platinum Plus" and "Preferred Visa" credit cards in conjunction with its new reward program. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in today's announcement.
"This is a key initiative in our marketing efforts to build upon the VEGAS.com brand, and continue our unparalleled support for the businesses and people here," Howard Lefkowitz, president of VEGAS.com, said in a statement.
VEGAS.com is a sister company of the Las Vegas Sun.
