Letter: Anti-tax fervor behind inaction

Columnist Jon Ralston's recent comments about the inaction in Carson City by our politicians remind me of another comment made by then-editor Tom Teepen of the Atlanta Constitution several years ago:
"For more than a decade now, a militant conservatism has forbidden every progressive impulse, and has tutored an anti-tax absolutism that teaches that no solution is worth its cost."
