Ten injured in two-vehicle accident on I-215

Ten people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 215 near Rainbow Boulevard shortly after 9 a.m. today, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
Trooper Angie Wolff said the accident involved a truck and a Salvation Army van and that none of the injuries appeared serious.
Details about the 9:02 a.m. accident were not immediately available.
American Medical Response ambulances transported six of the injured people to three area hospitals -- Desert Springs, Sunrise and Valley Hospital -- AMR spokeswoman Tammy Barne said.
