'Zen Mechanics'

Two exhibits are at the Contemporary Arts Collective gallery, 101 E. Charleston Blvd., until July 6: "Zen Mechanics," paintings by Mark Hutchings and Daniel Gron; and "Vegetable Eye," paintings by Tom Umholtz. Receptions for both artists will be from 7-11 p.m. today. 795-1722.

Dinosaur eggs

"The Tiniest Giants: Discovering Dinosaur Eggs," a renowned touring exhibit, will be at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Saturday through January. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. 384-3466.

Metal sculptures
