Ex-Rebel Banks skips draft camp

Where's Marcus Banks?

That is one of the big questions making the rounds at this week's NBA Pre-Draft Camp at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, the last and most highly touted showcase of college talent before the NBA Draft June 26.

Depending on which story you want to believe, the explosive UNLV point guard:

"That's been the hot rumor here," Frank Burlison of Foxsports.com said. "He's stopped doing (individual) workouts for teams, too. Usually when you stop doing that it's a sign that someone has guaranteed that they are going to take you."

ESPN.com also reported the Banks to the Celtics rumor Tuesday.

UNLV assistant coach Dave Rice said he heard the reason Banks skipped the Pre-Draft Camp was because of an injury.

"Apparently his hip was bothering him last week," Rice said.
