Charles E. Andrus

Charles E. Andrus, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Ohio. A resident for 15 years, he was a parts man in the automotive industry, a member of the Southern Nevada Train Club and Amigos Scuba Diving Club.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three sons, Erik, Jason and Chad; two daughters, Samantha and Michelle; one brother, Frank; one sister, Andrea; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Ernest L. Church

Ernest L. Church, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Uniontown, Pa. A resident for two years, he was a retired Marine Corps chief warrant officer II and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of the American Legion Post, Boone, Ky., and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Prunedale, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia; two sons, Douglas Church of Naples, Fla., and Robert Church of Cottonwood, Ariz.; two daughters, Karen Church and Jennifer Church, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Jetter Church Jr. of New Hampshire; two sisters, Mary Ellen Fuzzard of Walnut, Calif., and Betty Jean Lingler of Independence, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

James E. Cullen III

James E. Cullen III, 40, of Blue Diamond died Tuesday. He was born June 3, 1963, in New York City. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a horse trainer for a riding stable and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly L; two daughters, Samantha L. Cullen of Blue Diamond and Alexis Cullen of Globe, Ariz.; one son, Chase J. Cullen, and one stepdaughter, Miranda L. Martin, both of Blue Diamond; his father, James E. Cullen II of New York City; his mother, Joyce N. Stallone of Payson, Ariz.; his stepfather, John Stallone, and one brother, Michael Stallone, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Toni Marrotte of Glendale, Ariz., and Deborah Balfour of Coral Springs, Fla.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. today at Bonnie Springs Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Fullmer

Robert Wayne Fullmer, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1924, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 37 years, he owned and operated an investment company and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sun Yang; two daughters, Patricia Ann Barnes of Henderson and Anneliese Jess Freeman of St. George, Utah; four sons, Roy Wayne Fullmer, Patrick Wayne Fullmer, Horace Edward Fullmer and Kirk T. Fullmer, all of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Dr. Louis J. Hendrickson

Dr. Louis J. Hendrickson, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Minneapolis. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired dentist and Korean War Navy veteran, a member of the Clark County Dental Society, Nevada State Dental Association and American Dental Association.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two sons, Mark Hendrickson and Gregg Hendrickson, and one daughter, Wendy Daseler, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sonya Robinson and Caroline Falstad, both of Minneapolis; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. handled arrangements.

Rose Alma Hendrickson

Rose Alma Hendrickson, 83, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 54 years, she retired from the Sahara hotel-casino as a waitress after 26 years.

She is survived by two sons, Glen Hendrickson and Hans Hendrickson, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Services are private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Leanna Kay Miller

Leanna Kay Miller, 4, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1998, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her mother, Brandy Lee Miller.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Scott A. More, 43, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A photographer, he was born Nov. 8, 1959, in New York.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Lila More of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Kelly Alewel and Kimberly Arriola.

Patricia Margaret Rice

Patricia Margaret Rice, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 23, 1953, in New York. A resident for 40 years, she was a waitress and part-time director of the Arthritis Foundation.

She is survived by two sons, Sean and Jason; seven daughters, Laura Rice-Boehm, Aimee, Raquel, Holly, Shannon, Lori and Sheila; her mother, Kathleen; four brothers, Howard, Kevin, Bo and Jon; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Lydia Scaramosino

Lydia Scaramosino, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Wooster, Ohio. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Italian American Club, a eucharistic minister at St. Viator's Catholic Church, and a member of Two Hearts Prayer Group.

She is survived by three daughters, Maryann Tripp and Joanna Pollard, both of Las Vegas and Vicki Crowley of Westerville, Ohio; one brother, Joseph Discipio of Canton, Ohio; one sister, Olga Ross of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled three hours prior to a 6 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator's Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Marguerite C. Schultz, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 8, 1916, in Conde, S.D. A resident for 56 years, she was a retired bank bookkeeper.

She is survived by one son, Norman Schultz of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Raymond Wayne Short Sr.

Raymond Wayne Short Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 11, 1935, in Kansas. A resident for 27 years, he was a truck driver, an Army veteran, a member of Teamsters Union Local 631 and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by one son, Raymond Wayne Short Jr.; three daughters, Raenna Ybarra, Carol Vargas and Dena Cleveland; one brother, Charles Short; and two sisters, Donna Chandler and Carol Sue Anglin.

Eben L. 'Ed' Singleton

Eben L. "Ed" Singleton, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Lovington, N.M. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired research chemist for the federal government, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 37 F&AM, Boulder City, Order of the Eastern Star, Desert Chapter 22, Boulder City, Boulder City Organ Club and Boulder City Gem Club.

He is survived by one son, Bill Singleton of Boulder City; one daughter, Karen Garrison of North Las Vegas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson is handling arrangements.

Dock Smith, 72, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1931, in Grenada, Miss. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired laborer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; three daughters, Dorothy Jean Scott of Milwaukee, Regina Smith of Long Beach, Calif., and Nicole Smith of North Las Vegas; three sons, Roy Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo., Reginald Smith of Phoenix and Steve Miller of Las Vegas; two sisters, Luveina Smith Goss of Grenada and Ruthie Mae Smith Todd of Coldwater, Miss.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

William Warren Wagner

William Warren Wagner, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1944, in Prairie Du Chien, Wis. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired carpenter and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies, Zelzah Shrine Temple in Wisconsin and Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Kim A.; four sons, Gregory Wagner of Las Vegas, Daniel Wagner of Costa Rica, William Randall Wagner of Madison, Wis., and Patrick Wagner of Bettendorf, Iowa; one daughter, Christine R. Hauser of La Crosse, Wis.; one stepson, Christopher Lang of Massachusetts; one brother, Charles Wagner Jr. of Las Vegas; three sisters, Becky Schultz of Las Vegas, Kathleen Hauser of Onalaska, Wis., and Sally Kellicut of Holmen, Wis.; and nine grandchildren.

Janette M. White

Janette M. White, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 14, 1931, in Walton, W.Va. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired certified practical nurse for an assisted living center and a member of the Women's Club in Boulder City.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheri Ann Province of Pahrump; one son, Raymond Kurth Jr. of Boulder City; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
