Executives promoted at home building giant

KB Home has promoted Jim Widner to president of the Las Vegas division effective Friday.
He succeeds Leah Bryant, who was promoted to regional general manager of the Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson divisions.
Los Angeles-based KB Home is the largest home builder in Southern Nevada, with 2,959 escrow closings in 2002, according to Home Builders Research Inc.
